BRING BACK THE STATE THEATRE! -- 807 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 Formerly the Cinema Pub. THIS BUSINESS HAS CLOSED. It showed movies, live Theatre events, and other performances. I saw Governor Patrick speak here when he was a candidate. They also held birthday parties for little kids. They serve hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and popcorn and they had a beer and wine license.Hope this opens as something, it's a waste of good space in the town center. There is a group trying to raise money to refurbish this Theatre. I think this is a great idea and would really help to revitalize downtown Stoughton.
